Hello dear friends!
We hope this note finds you all well and happy. Your Area Teaching Committee, Auxiliary Board Member and our collaborators met recently to reflect on the progress of our cluster this current cycle, and consult on possible plans for the next three month cycle of activity. We wanted to share that we moved the date of our cluster reflection meeting to Saturday, August 23rd from 10AM-12PM, to be better aligned with the rhythm of the rest of our region, and hope you can join us. It will be held at the Baha'i Information Center. After the reflection gathering we invite all of you to join us in visiting friends in our community both Saturday afternoon, and on Sunday, 8/24, as well, as we continue to learn about home visits and sharing prayers with others.
In addition to the above, we have some other dates of interest to share with you, and hope you can join us for these. More details will follow closer to the dates, but please mark your calendars:
-STL Festival of Religions-Sunday, July 27th
-St. Charles Festival of Religions-Sunday, September 14th
-Devotional host reflection meeting-Sat, September 27, 1-3 PM; whether you are a devotional host, attend a devotional or would like to learn more about devotional gatherings, this space is for you.
-Tutor Reflection Gathering - Sat October 11, 1-3 PM; all tutors and participants are invited to attend and reflect on what they are learning, tutor effectiveness.
-Ruhi Institute Gathering-Sat October 25, 1-3 PM; all are welcome. Will share updates on the Ruhi books, and consider how we might increase our capacity to welcome more friends from the greater community into the Institute process.
-Next Cluster Reflection Meeting following the one above- Sunday, November 9, 12 PM-2PM; Expansion phase 11/8-22 (includes youth institute camp 11/8-9)
We hope you can join us in many of these spaces, but especially at the cluster reflection gathering, as we learn about increasing the capacity of our cluster to release the society-building power of the Faith in ever greater measure. As shared by our beloved Universal House of Justice at Ridvan of this year, "Time is passing. Beloved friends, and promulgators of the divine teachings, and champions of the Blessed Beauty—your efforts are needed now."
Loving regards,
Nora, Billie, Mitch
Continually my ear and eye are turned toward the Central States; perchance a melody from some blessed souls may reach my ears—souls who are the dawning-places of the love of God, the stars of the horizon of sanctification and holiness—souls who will illumine this dark universe and quicken to life this dead world. The joy of ‘Abdu’l‑Bahá depends upon this! I hope that you may become confirmed therein. 'Abdu'l-Baha', Tablets of the Divine Plan, to the Baha'is of the Central States
