Location
The school takes place on the shores of Lake Doniphan, near Excelsior Springs, Missouri, just 45
minutes from Kansas City. This, out in the country, retreat environment provides all the beauty
and presence of nature while accommodating participants’ needs in comfortable indoor sleeping,
meeting, and dining spaces.
This year, the program will explore HOPE in the Bahá’í writings through study of the 30 December
2021 Letter from the Universal House of Justice, in which it laid out so much of its vision for the 9
Year Plan.
In a time when we are actively involved in efforts to facilitate the betterment of the world and
“escape” the detrimental features of our current society, we are using an escape room format to
explore features of the pathway of hope that the 30 December 2021 letter outlines in a fun,
challenging, and informational way.
We invite you to hitch up your black stallion, grab your fedora and bullwhip and join us on the
adventure of: HOPE and the Promise of Destiny
This will be an open space for anyone wishing to explore positive approaches to society building, all are invited.
